Dr. Kharin’s professional journey commenced with a degree in psychology from the University of Massachusetts. He subsequently graduated from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 2010, where he earned both Merit and Alberti Scholarships. In 2011, he completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency, mentored and taught by board-certified specialists in all facets of dentistry.
In 2021, Dr. Kharin achieved Fellowship status with the Academy of General Dentistry, joining an exclusive group of dentists committed to clinical excellence through ongoing education. He is the sole AGD Fellow in Bedford, MA.
Throughout his career, Dr. Kharin has dedicated numerous hours to perfecting the art of dentistry through seminars, lectures, hands-on courses, and participation in various study clubs. His objective has always been to possess the knowledge and skills to provide exceptional dental care to his patients.
Dr. Kharin’s behavioral background, erudite personality, and profound sense of compassion, coupled with a comprehensive understanding of his profession, have shaped a distinctive style of patient interaction. From the initial meeting, he endeavors to learn about his patients’ desires, wishes, past experiences, and fears, aiming to comprehend the individuals for whom he will be providing care. Following a meticulous dental examination, Dr. Kharin guides patients in formulating a comprehensive treatment plan to achieve the optimal health that modern dentistry can offer.
Residing in Concord, MA, with his wife and two young sons, Dr. Kharin is not only a dedicated dental professional but also an avid reader, traveler, art and music connoisseur, gardener, nature enthusiast, and a published author. Additionally, he proudly serves his country as a Major in the U.S Army Reserve.
Professional Organizations
Dr. Lauren Kai, originally from Honolulu, Hawaii, graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. She earned her D.M.D. degree from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine and completed her postdoctoral endodontics residency at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine.
Prior to dentistry, she worked in medical device design and manufacturing for Medtronic in Switzerland and designed abutments for dental implants with Astra Tech in Waltham, MA. Dr. Kai is a member of the American Association of Endodontists, the Massachusetts Association of Endodontists, and is board certified as a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics. She is an Assistant Professor at Tufts University and enjoys teaching clinical endodontics.
Outside of the office, Dr. Kai loves traveling, baking, skiing, trying new restaurants, and spending time with her husband and daughter.

Judy is a proud graduate of Middlesex Community College and brings over 45 years of experience in the dental field! Her warm communication skills, keen attention to detail, and extensive knowledge of scheduling and insurance help keep our practice running smoothly. Judy is dedicated to creating a welcoming environment for every patient, ensuring they feel comfortable and well cared for. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, and staying active through exercise.
Inspired by her mother’s encouragement, Julie chose dental assisting as her career—and for the past 27 years, it has been one of the most rewarding decisions of her life. For 25 of those years, she has had the privilege of serving patients in this practice, helping them achieve healthy, confident smiles. Nothing brings her more joy than creating a comfortable, reassuring experience for each patient and building lasting relationships along the way.
Outside the office, she finds happiness in the kitchen, whether she is cooking a homemade meal or baking something sweet to share. She also has a deep love for travel and cherishes every moment spent with her husband, Keith, and her three wonderful children, Megan, Zach, and Derek.
With over 20 years of experience as a dental assistant, Serey is passionate about providing compassionate care and ensuring patients feel comfortable during their visits. One of the most rewarding aspects of her job is easing patients' fears, building trust, and forming long-term relationships. She has had the opportunity to work in general dentistry, periodontal surgery, orthodontics, and pediatrics, allowing her to gain extensive knowledge and skills in various specialties. Helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles continues to be her greatest joy!
Outside of work, she loves spending time with her husband, Paul, her two kids, Mia and Myles, and the family dog, Coco. She enjoys cooking, dining out, playing board games, and traveling to new places. Family time is incredibly important to Serey, and she cherishes every moment they share together.
Karen is excited to bring her many years of experience in Dental Hygiene to our team. She graduated from Forsyth School for Dental Hygiene, Northeastern University in 1979 and University of Lowell in 1988 with a BS in Health Education. She taught Health Education at Andover High School. She has built a reputation for attention to detail and a gentle touch. She believes each patient has unique needs which deserve special attention. It is important to her to develop trust and relationships with her patients. .
Karen enjoys spending her time with her husband John, son Jonathan and daughter Rachel and son-in-law Odeyemi, 3 yr old dog Hope, her extended family and friends, running, going to the theater, healthy eating, and life-long learning. She loves arranging flowers for weddings and special events with her sister at Fairstone Designs. She is looking forward to meeting you and developing a long successful partnership to help you maintain your health and achieve your goals.
Maddie graduated from Middlesex Community College and is licensed to administer local anesthesia to enhance patient comfort during periodontal therapies. With over a decade of experience in the dental hygiene field, she is dedicated to providing excellent care and ensuring a positive experience for her patients.
Maddie has completed advanced education courses in areas such as "Periodontal Therapies," "Managing Dental Anxiety," and techniques to improve patient comfort. She incorporates thoughtful approaches to enhance the patient experience, including the use of weighted blankets, stuffed animals, stress-relief puzzles, handheld devices, and mouth props to accommodate patients with TMJ discomfort or those who may struggle with dental procedures..

In her free time, Maddie enjoys exploring new adventures with her husband, spending time with her mom and her dogs, and baking during the winter months. She also loves searching for the perfect lobster roll and pizza—a delicious quest that continues to this day!
With over 25 years of experience as a dental hygienist, Anne is dedicated to her profession and takes pride in delivering efficient, thorough, and gentle oral health care. She stays up-to-date with the latest advancements in dental technology to ensure the highest level of care for her patients. Her goal is to make each patient's experience respectful, comfortable, friendly, and informative. She takes time to educate patients on their individual dental needs and guide them in maintaining their oral and overall health, helping them achieve a bright, confident smile.
Outside the office, she loves spending time with her husband, Dave, of 40 years, and their sweet 6-year-old Bichon Frise pup, Molly May. They enjoy taking nice walks and watching her play fetch in the backyard. Anne also brings Molly May to a local assisted living home to share her love and brighten residents' days! She is passionate about reading a good book, cooking delicious meals, and spending quality time with family and friends.
